My question to you is this: "Where Are You Really?"
If you're doing well, Is there someone else who you're concerned about that you'd like to refer me to work with so they can receive the help that they need?
I have also personally walked through lengthy and extensive rehabilitation and exercise therapy and can relate to what many people are going through (including how people get 'stuck' or plateau, or become discouraged and hopeless. As a Specialist in Exercise Therapy (SET), I'll design an Individualized Exercise Plan for you -- an exercise program that is tailored specifically to your needs that's a great way to stay physically and mentally fit. It will also provide additional benefits such as: improved condition of the heart and lungs, increased muscular strength, endurance, flexibility, and motor fitness.
More importantly, if you have a common chronic disease, orthopedic, or ambulatory condition, I will design an individualized plan and program for you that accommodates, factors in, and includes precautions to take for people with those health conditions. No "one size fits all" here.
Exercise is much like medicine because it must be applied appropriately and monitored. The Specialist in Exercise Therapy keeps the lines of communications open with the client and health professionals. The role of the Specialist in Exercise Therapy (SET) is to provide safe and appropriate exercise that will not aggravate the clients existing chronic/disease condition(s).

When you don't use your body or when a person is sedentary for too long, the lack of movement can lead to the deterioration of many body functions, pain, soreness, and even less movement.
I will help you become proactively involved in the healing process (after you are cleared by the doctor and complete your sessions with your post-surgery therapist (or initial sessions with your therapist). I serve in concert with medical professionals to make a significant and positive impact upon clients' quality of life.
